What to bring?
01.
Basic material
- Tent
- Sleeping pad
- Sleeping bag. We recommend a sleeping bag with a heat rating of at least -5 degrees Celsius. The nights can be cool in September.
- Earplugs for those who want to go to bed earlier.
- Headlamp
- Warm clothes and changing clothes
- Bed clothes. Keep dry clothes for the night.
- Tuque/casquette
- Gloves
- Reusable water bottle (minimum 1L)
- Sports shoes
- Toiletries
- Bicycle locks
- Credit card/cash
- Camping chair
- Protection mask (Covid-19)
IMPORTANT. The event takes place rain or shine! We strongly advise you to check the weather forecast a few days before the event and to plan your clothing accordingly.

Equipment for activities - Discovery Package
All the equipment is included for Discovery Admission activities, with the following exceptions:
- Mounting bike: Mountain bike activities do not include equipment. You must bring your own bike. However, it is possible to rent one via the ticketing platform at a cost of 22$. The rental is valid for the duration of the activity and is only available to festival-goers with the Discovery admission. The rented bikes will be located directly at the activity site.
- Stand-up paddle - Touring ONLY: The Stand-up paddle - Touring activity requires you to have your own board. The other Stand-up paddle activities include the equipment.

Drinking and eating
Meals provided at the NORR Festival:
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday
- Lunch and dinner on Sunday
A vegetarian option is available for each meal. It will be possible to inform us of this when you register.
It is also possible to make a reservation for the Friday evening dinner on the ticketing platform (additional cost). The dinner service on Friday is from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
We strongly suggest that you bring some snacks to wait between meals. Coffee, snacks, soups and desserts will also be available for purchase on site (LeSubtil booth).

How do I get to the festival?
The NORR Festival takes place near the town of Saint-Raymond. The event site is located at the following address Accueil Cantin, 1391 Rang Ste Croix, Saint-Raymond, QC G3L 3H8.

Shuttle transportation is included for festival-goers who have purchased their Discovery Admission, with the exception of the following two activities:
- Mountain bike: If you choose to bring your own mountain bike, you must ensure its transportation.
- Stand-Up Paddle - Touring. This activity requires you to bring your own board. You have to transport it to the activity site.
The shuttle schedule will be sent to you in your confirmation email and will be posted (in very, very large print) on the event gathering site.
Carpooling
In order to reduce our collective environmental footprint, we strongly encourage you to carpool to the event. It's also much more fun as a group! To encourage carpooling among participants, we have created a Facebook group. We therefore encourage those who have extra places to show up directly there!

Registration and parking
On arrival on Friday, once the car is parked, you will be directed to the pathway that leads to the gathering site (about 600m walk). The registration is done directly there. At this point you will be given everything you need for your weekend.
If you are unable to check in on Friday, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan for your arrival on Saturday morning.
Luggage
The NORR team will transport your luggage from the parking lot to the gathering site. However, you are asked to put all your belongings in closed and well identified bags.
Camper and RV
For those who have purchased their Vanlife Access, you will be directed to a parking space upon arrival. No vehicles are allowed on the gathering site and we ask you to respect the following rules:
- Only camper vans under 20 feet are allowed. Trailers are not allowed.
- Campfires are not allowed in the parking lot.
- You must collect all your rubbish before you leave.
IMPORTANT. For those who wish to sleep in their own camper, you must first purchase your Vanlife access on the online sales platform (18$).

Register for activities.
After purchasing your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to register for your 3 activity blocks.
Please note that it is first come, first served. In addition, you can choose a maximum of 2 sports activities.
Discharge and regulations

Discharge to be signed
All festival-goers must sign a waiver of acceptance and acknowledgement of risk before arriving at the event. The waiver must be signed at the time of registration.
Regulations
- It is forbidden to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
- It is not possible to bring a large piece of equipment on board the shuttles (bike, canoe, SUP, etc.).
- Smoking is not allowed on the event site
- For safety reasons, it is forbidden to drive on the access road to the gathering site. A little tip: the bicycle is your best friend!
- For those who bring their bikes to the event, it is your responsibility to secure and lock them. The festival is not responsible for lost, broken or stolen equipment. We strongly suggest that you bring a bike lock.
Off to NORR!

The organisation takes the safety of participants and volunteers very seriously and plans to adjust production to ensure that the health standards in place are met. To ensure the safety of all, you are asked to respect the following health rules. These measures are subject to change as the pandemic evolves.
- Social distancing. We ask participants to keep a minimum distance of 1 metre everywhere on the outdoor event site.
- Wearing the mask. It is recommended to wear the mask when moving in traffic areas or when social distancing cannot be respected.
- Shuttles. We ask you to disinfect your hands before entering the shuttle and the mask is mandatory on board the shuttles.
- Main tent and music show. We ask you to respect the social distance inside the tents. It is recommended that you wear a helmet inside the main tent.
- Service area and meals. You will be asked to disinfect your hands before entering the service area and to respect social distancing in the lines. It is mandatory to wear a uniform inside the service area (catering).
- We will encourage contactless payment (credit card) when serving at the bar.
- If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 at the event, we ask you to inform a member of our team immediately. You will be taken care of and we will explain the procedure to you.
