General

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, but you must comply with the following regulations:  

  • Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times
  • It is not possible to bring your dog to the supervised activities of the Discovery admission
  • Please keep our beautiful site clean by picking up after your dog.

How to prepare
Where does the NORR Festival take place?

The NORR Festival takes place near the town of Saint-Raymond. The site of the event is located at the following address

Accueil Cantin, 1391 Rang Ste Croix, Saint-Raymond, QC G3L 3H8.

Can I sleep in my van (camper)?

Yes, but only in the NORR parking lot reserved for this purpose. To access it, you must purchase "Vanlife access" on the ticketing platform.

Is parking included?

Yes.

How far from the site are the parking lots?

The gathering site is located at a distance of 600 m from the parking lots. Your luggage will be taken care of by the festival team upon arrival and departure.

Does the event take place in case of rain?

The event takes place rain or shine. Dress accordingly! No tickets will be refunded in case of bad weather (that's part of the adventure!)

Can I volunteer at the event?

Our volunteer team is complete for this year!

What meals are provided at the event?

Saturday meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and Sunday meals (lunch and dinner). The Friday evening dinner is offered as an extra on the ticketing platform at a cost of 16$. It will be served from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Is there a food offer on site in addition to the meals provided?

Yes, Le Subtil counter will be offering snacks, coffee and soups throughout the festival.

Is it possible to adapt the menu if I have a food allergy?

If you have any food allergies, please let us know when you register and we can adjust the meals for you accordingly.

Can I bring my own food?

Absolutely! We strongly advise you to bring snacks for those afternoon cravings.

Can I bring my own alcoholic beverages to the site?

No. It is forbidden to bring your alcohol to the event. We don't want to play police, so please be respectful of the rules.

Can I register on Saturday morning?

Yes, it is possible to register on Saturday morning before 10am.

Ticketing and programming

Are children allowed?

No, the festival is open to 18+. As the event is not family-friendly at the moment, we consider it wiser to limit access to adults only.

What is the refund policy?
General
  • All ticket types are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. It is the responsibility of the participant to check their order carefully before submitting it. This includes all types of admission, as well as extras.
  • No tickets will be refunded in case of rain or bad weather. We ask participants to bring appropriate clothing for the weather, as the event will take place rain or shine.
COVID -19
The following measures are precautionary. As of 18 April, there are no capacity limits for outdoor public events and vaccination passports are not required.
  • In the event that the organization has to cancel the event due to COVID-19, festival admissions will be refunded to participants in full. However, ticketing fees and applicable transaction fees are not refundable.
  • In the event that a health measure limiting the capacity (number of participants) of outdoor public events is imposed on promoters after the date of ticketing, the NORR Festival intends to apply the following policy:

    Refund of tickets based on the date of purchase of the ticket, until the imposed capacity limit is reached. Refunds of admissions will be in descending order of purchase date, i.e. participants who purchased their tickets first will have priority over their participation in the event. Ticket refunds will be systematic and non-random.
  • In the event that the vaccine passport is reintroduced at outdoor public events, NORR Festival plans to reimburse festival-goers who do not have their vaccine passport. However, ticketing fees and applicable transaction fees are not refundable.
Is there a daily admission to the event?

No. To remain true to the concept, only the all-inclusive admission is offered under the Autonomous and Discovery packages.

Autonomous Package

What activities can I do with my Autonomous admission?

For those who purchase an Autonomous admission, the following activities are available:

  • Mountain biking. Saint-Raymond and Shannahan sector
  • Hiking. Welcome Cantin and Shannahan.
  • Trail running around the gathering site.
  • Stand Up Paddle, canoe and kayak on the Bras-du-Nord river.
  • Rock climbing in the Bastiscan-Neilson Zec.
  • Enjoying your time on the gathering site!
Can I go mountain biking in the Shannahan area?

Yes, with your admission to the Festival, you have access to the Saint-Raymond and Shannahan areas.

Do I have access to the conferences and yoga sessions?

Yes, access to the conferences and yoga sessions are included with the purchase of an Autonomous admission. See the event schedule for full details.

Discovery Package

How can I register for activities?

After purchasing your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to register for your 3 activity blocks. Please note that it is first come, first served. In addition, you can choose a maximum of 2 sports activities.

Is all the equipment included for the activities I have registered for?

Yes, all the equipment is included for Discovery Admission activities, with the following exceptions:  

  • Mounting bike: Mountain bike activities do not include equipment. You must bring your own bike. However, it is possible to rent one via the ticketing platform at a cost of 22$. The rental is valid for the duration of the activity and is only available to festival-goers with the Discovery admission. The rented bikes will be located directly at the activity site.
  • Stand-up paddle - Touring ONLY: The Stand-up paddle - Touring activity requires you to have your own board. The other Stand-up paddle activities include the equipment.
Rent a mountain bike
Can I change my activities over the weekend?

No. You have to choose your activities before the event, after buying your ticket.

Is transport to activities included? 

Transport to activities is included with Discovery Admission, except:

  • Mountain bike: If you choose to bring your own mountain bike, you must ensure its transportation.
  • Stand-Up Paddle - Touring. This activity requires you to bring your own board. You have to transport it to the activity site.
