For the past 6 months, Nicolas Roulx and Catherine Chagnon have been attempting the first motorless crossing of Canada's three northern territories. They first crossed the Yukon by bike in April, then were joined by their friends to cross the Northwest Territories by canoe for 3 months. Finally, they crossed Hudson Bay in a sailboat, and are currently crossing part of Baffin Island on foot, in the first frosts of September.
This conference will be the first time ever that members of the expedition will recount their journey. The stories to be told will therefore be unprecedented! This is the story of one of the longest wilderness expeditions ever documented in the Canadian Arctic.
